Capgemini wants to buy Getronics Units

French information technology company Capgemini is interested in acquiring certain parts of Dutch IT firm Getronics, which was earlier bought off the market by Dutch telecom company Royal KPN NV, Dutch newspaper De Financiele Telegraaf reports Tuesday, citing Capgemini Group executive committee member Henk Broeders.
"We think the parts make a good fit," Broeders quoted as saying, referring to the software development, ICT applications and outsourcing units.
The newspaper reports Capgemini has already signaled its interest to KPN and the units are valued at about €800 million.
